Motorcyclist dies after Murfreesboro crash

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) — An investigation is underway after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Murfreesboro Thursday evening.
The crash happened at South Church Street and South Rutherford Boulevard around 7:20 p.m.
The motorcyclist was rushed to an area hospital, where they died from their injuries. The driver of the other car involved in the crash was not injured, police said.
Church Street was blocked at South Rutherford Boulevard but has since reopened.
The Murfreesboro Police Department's Fatal Accident Crash Team has launched an investigation into the cause of the crash.
No additional information was immediately released.
