Description

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A police organization is now offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of a hit-and-run driver who struck a tourist as he was crossing Church Street and seriously injured him.

The National Police Defense Foundation is offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of Tony Gebian Lopez-Infante, 32.

Lopez-Infante, of Venezuela, was identified as the driver of a Mitsubishi Mirage that struck 21-year-old Zachary Carach, as he was attempting to cross Church Street in a marked crosswalk.

The reward offer is good for one year, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department, through June 19, 2026.

Arrest warrants charging Lopez-Infante with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, failure to render aid/file an accident report, attempted evidence tampering, and driving without a license/insurance have been issued, per police. He is also wanted in Williamson County on an outstanding probation violation warrant related to a theft arrest.

Anyone with information on Lopez-Infante's whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward in addition to the $10,000 offered by the police foundation.
