FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) -- Two Georgia men are behind bars after allegedly stealing more than $9,200 worth of circuit breakers from a Middle Tennessee home improvement store last month.
According to the Franklin Police Department, the duo made off with 100 circuit breakers from a business along Mallory Lane on Aug. 11.
The men -- identified by authorities as 26-year-old Jaiquan Monplaisir of Norcross, Georgia, and 23-year-old Jahmeek Bennett of Walnut Grove, Georgia -- are both charged with shoplifting-theft of property and organized retail crime.
Officials said Monplaisir and Bennett are also suspected of similar crimes at home improvement stores in multiple Middle Tennessee cities -- more specifically, Columbia, Tullahoma, and Shelbyville -- as well as the South Carolina cities of Greenville and Clemson.
Law enforcement announced on Wednesday, Sept. 3 that both men are being held in the Williamson County Jail, with bonds set at $7,000 each.
No additional details were released about this case or the pair's arrest.
