According to officials, a vehicle hit a 55-year-old pedestrian and left the scene.
Law enforcement said the driver -- identified as 44-year-old Heather Keller of Murfreesboro -- was taken into custody on Aug. 25 and charged with the following offenses:

Keller was reportedly booked into the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center on a $28,500 bond following her arrest.
Police later announced that the woman who was hit in the parking lot died from her injuries on Wednesday, Sept. 3. The medical examiner has been asked to perform an autopsy to determine her exact cause of death.
According to authorities, the Rutherford County District Attorney General's office has been notified about the victim's death, so upgraded charges could be pending against the driver.
