NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Tennessee Titans will be without one of their quarterbacks for the rest of the season.

According to the team, Levis made the decision to undergo shoulder surgery after consulting with doctors and his representatives. The surgery is expected to sideline him for the entire 2025 season.

"We support his decision to focus on his long-term health. He approached the offseason with professionalism and showed clear growth as a leader. We remain confident in his full recovery," shared the team in a statement released Monday, July 21.

In November 2024, News 2 reported that Levis missed three games as h continued to recover from a sprained AC joint in his right shoulder. The quarterback played through the injury the week after it happened and struggled in a loss to Colts.

The Tennessee Titans drafted Levis with the 33rd overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. The 26-year-old has reportedly appeared in 21 games over his first two seasons, completing 339-of-556 passes for 3,899 yards, 21 touchdowns to 16 interceptions, with a passer rating of 82.7.

As Levis heads to surgery, the Titans are now left with three quarterbacks: Cameron Ward, Tim Boyle and Brandon Allen.

Ward was selected as the No. 1 overall pick in 2025 NFL Draft. In April, Houston Oilers legend and Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Warren Moon gave Ward his blessing to wear his retired No. 1 jersey as a Titan.
