NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Fallon Company just announced a new grant program to support local community organizations.
This new community fund is an investment to help strengthen neighborhood ties. The company is interested in helping create opportunities for connection by supporting neighborhood and community organizations.
The Fallon Company announced its $50,000 grant program. The program is a way to give back to the community and help neighborhoods connect with their residents. A variety of groups are encouraged to apply.
Grants up to $10,000 could be awarded to registered neighborhood associations, schools, nonprofits or faith-based organizations. The grant can help pay for beautification projects, public spaces for future neighborhood developments, community gatherings, cross-cultural initiatives, and neighborhood identity and engagement projects.
The Fallon Company leaders said they wanted to make an impact beyond the East Bank and support the people who make Nashville's neighborhoods strong. The Fallon Company Nashville Managing Director Ben Farrer said every group is encouraged to apply.
"We'll help on the development side for the East Bank and be able to help to create a community there that reaches further than that," Farrer said. "Nashville is a very together community. You're able to look out for your neighbors, help each other out, and we want to be a part of that."
