Description
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A five-mile loop in downtown Nashville will close to motor vehicles Sunday to make way for walkers, runners, bicyclists and anyone looking to explore the community.
From noon to 5 p.m., attendees are encouraged to follow a path that runs along the Cumberland River and through several downtown greenways.

Registration is not required to join the "city-wide block party," which serves as an opportunity to spend time outdoors, socialize with others, enjoy music performances and spend time exploring downtown neighborhoods.
Several community partners will host pop-up stores, art activities, games, music and food along the path.
Other activities such as group bike rides and a yoga class are set to begin in the afternoon.
The event is scheduled to take place again on Aug. 17 and Sept. 7.
