NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) โ Nashville fire crews are working to locate a "parachute jumper" in a wooded area near Ashland City Highway.
Several units with the Nashville Fire Department were sent to the area just before 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4, to conduct a high-angle rescue.
Officials said crews later learned that the incident involved a parachute jumper in distress who was approximately two to three miles away from the roadway.
"This is a high-angle rescue response and crews are working to reach and locate any persons involved," wrote the NFD in a social media post about the incident.
No additional information was immediately released.
