NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Whether you want the perfect pumpkin for your porch or just looking for a day of family fun, there a plenty of places across Middle Tennessee to find the ideal gourd.

News 2 has compiled a list of 10 local pumpkin patches that also offer family-friendly activities throughout October.

Boyd's Pumpkin Patch

  • When: Open Wednesday- Sunday, starting Oct. 2
  • Where: 1425 Highway 76, Clarksville, TN 37043

Boyd's Pumpkin Patch has been growing pumpkins since 1984, according to their website. The family-run business also offers a corn maze for attendees.

Cheekwood Harvest

  • When: Now - Oct. 30
  • Where: 1200 Forrest Park Drive, Nashville, TN 37205

Get ready for an "explosion of pumpkins" as fall magic returns to Cheekwood Estate & Gardens. During the month-long event, attendees will get the chance to view more than 75,000 pumpkins, enjoy musical performances and brave a spooky scarecrow trail.

Gentry Farm

  • When: Now - Oct. 27
  • Where: 1974 New Highway 96 W, Franklin, TN 37064

Grandaddy's Farm

  • When: Now - Nov. 1

The family-run Grandaddy’s Farm offers pumpkins, hay rides, a corn maze, pig races, slides, and more!

Honeysuckle Hill Farm

  • When: Now - Nov. 1
  • Where: 1765 Martins Chapel Church Road, Springfield, TN 37172

While visiting the month-long fall festival on the 200-acre family farm, families can pick the perfect pumpkin, listen to the singing chicken show, and watch the hillbilly pig races every weekend.

Keller's Farm

  • When:  Open Fri. – Sun. all October long, starting Oct. 5 (hours vary by day)
  • Where: 542 Fire Tower Road, Dickson, TN 37055

Keller’s Farm has plenty of pumpkins to pick, but outside of the patch, the farm features kid-friendly zip lines, a barrel train, a corn maze, and more! Check out their Facebook page for any last-minute closings due to weather.

Lucky Ladd Farms

  • When: Now - Oct. 31
  • Where: 4306 Rocky Glade Road, Eagleville, TN 37060

Lucky Ladd Farms was voted Middle Tennessee’s "Best Fall Festival" in 2024 and has even been named the “#1 pumpkin patch in Tennessee” by the Travel Channel. You can also explore the corn maze, grab apple cider donuts, and pick the perfect pumpkin all in one day.

Nashville Fall Festival

  • When: Now- Nov. 2
  • Where: 8687 Old Harding Pike, Nashville, TN 37221

Explore a corn maze, stroll through a sunflower field, enjoy a riverfront ride and take in the views with hot air balloon and helicopter rides at the Nashville Fall Festival. Event organizers said attendees can walk through the pumpkin patch to choose their free pumpkin, which is included with general admission.

Shuckle's Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch

  • When: Now - Nov. 1
  • Where: 7526 Swift Road, Greenbrier, TN 37073

From getting lost in the corn maze to finding the perfect pumpkin, a trip to Shuckle's Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch is the ultimate autumn adventure. In addition to the pumpkin patch, families can enjoy hayrides, slides, magic shows, animals and great food.

Walden Pumpkin Farm

In addition to the pumpkin patch, the family-run Walden Pumpkin Farm also offers hay rides, a corn maze, animal barn, slip and slide, and plenty more activities.
