NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Two teenagers were arrested after their alleged involvement in an armed robbery on Lincoya Bay Drive, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.
According to a news release from the MNPD, the victim reported that two people had stolen his cell phone and bank card. The victim tracked his phone and saw it was at a location on Dickerson Pike.
MNPD officials said they located a 16-year-old and 14-year-old on Dickerson Pike in a stolen vehice, which had a broken back passenger window. The teenagers ran from officers into a nearby apartment.
Police said the vehicle in which the teenagers allegedly stole was reported stolen on Monday from Lucile Street, and the victim's cell phone and bank card were inside the vehicle.

According to MNPD, both teenagers were taken into custody, and officers recovered two stolen firearms inside the apartment. One of the guns had been stolen on June 5 from a vehicle on Harding Place while the other gun was stolen on June 14 from a vehicle on Dickerson Pike.

Both teenagers are facing three counts of aggravated robbery, the MNPD release said.
MNPD's investigation remains ongoing as investigators look into the teenagers' potential involvement in other recent robberies that were similar to this one.
