'Large police presence' at hotel under construction as Murfreesboro police search for murder, kidnapping suspect

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) — Murfreesboro police alerted residence to "a large police presence" at a hotel under construction Thursday as they search for the driver of a suspect vehicle.
According to the Murfreesboro Police Department, the driver of a stolen car wanted out of North Carolina is wanted in connection with murder and kidnapping. License plate recognition technology alerted that the stolen car was found at a hotel under construction on Roby Corlew Lane.
The roadway has been blocked, police added, and they have asked residents to avoid the area as the department's Special Operations Unit conducts a search of the hotel.
