NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A woman was injured in a shooting at a home in West Nashville early Friday morning.
The shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. in the 700 block of 40th Avenue North.
According to Metro police, the woman was shot in the leg and ran to a nearby apartment complex for help.
She was taken to an area hospital where she is expected to survive.
The shooting is under investigation and no additional information was immediately released.
