SPRING HILL, Tenn. (WKRN) — If you'd like to know what is being built in your Spring Hill neighborhood, the city just launched a new tool to help you look.

The city's new development tracker is simple to use. It shows where each development is happening, the description of the project and its current status.

All residents need to do is visit this link online. Once you arrive at the map, click on one of the locator buttons, and you'll be able to learn about that particular project.

Spring Hill City Administrator Carter Napier told News 2 the city is growing fast.

Right now there are between 60 and 70 projects in various stages of development between commercial, residential, private and public infrastructure endeavors.

Napier said allowing citizens to be in the know about what's going on around their neighborhoods makes them feel more involved and builds more trust.

"It's also an opportunity to increase the transparency with respect to the amount of activity is taking place in our community," Napier told News 2. "There's a lot of activity happening in Spring Hill, and our citizens are very engaged and they want to understand what's happening."
