MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man was arrested by Mt. Juliet police Wednesday on multiple charges after authorities say he "posted as a fake delivery service" to fraudulently take possession of a Mustang.
In a social media post, the Mt. Juliet Police Department said the 2024 Dark Horse Mustang was reported stolen out of Kentucky Tuesday. Authorities were alerted to its presence in the city through license plate recognition technology as the vehicle entered the city along E Division Street.

According to the MJPD, the suspect also had multiple outstanding warrants, including a probation violation related to a charge of driving under the influence out of Rutherford County and criminal simulation as well as warrants out of the City of Smyrna for failure to appear related to shoplifting charges.
He was taken into custody without incident and booked for theft of property along with driving on a suspended license and his outstanding warrants.
