Description
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The summertime pattern of heat, humidity and storms continues for our region. We have a risk of a few severe storms on Monday, but the storm risk will continue with each day this week.
For Monday, July 14, there is a Marginal Risk (level 1/5) of severe storms across most of Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky. This is a very isolated threat, only a few storms could turn severe today.

The primary concern for the Marginal Risk is wind gusts that could exceed 40 mph, possibly approaching severe criteria of 60 mph. Within any storm, heavy rain is a hazard.

Future Tracker seems to be showing a poor coverage of storms compared to what the WKRN weather team is anticipating. Look for rain and storms to become likely by midday and afternoon. Some will likely be strong to even briefly severe.
The rain chances will continue over the next several days this week. The severe risk is overall very low, but expect storms to occur each day in our region.

As rain chances decrease, temperatures will increase to the lower and middle 90s. Combined with dew points in the lower 70s (or higher at times), it will feel like near 100!
