NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man was taken to the hospital Wednesday afternoon after two men allegedly broke into his South Nashville apartment.
The shooting call came in at about 1:27 p.m. from the 560 block of Hickory View Drive. According to a spokesperson with the Metro Nashville Police Department, the victim said two men broke into his apartment and shot him.
The MNPD said he was shot in the abdomen and was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with serious injuries.
Investigators with the MNPD are still on the scene searching for evidence. No other details have been released.
