Description
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A person has died after they were hit by a train south of downtown Nashville early Thursday morning.
The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. near the 1400 block of Third Avenue South.
According to Metro police, a CSX train hit a person and they died from their injuries.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the collision. The Medical Examiner is at the scene to collect the body.
No additional information was immediately released.
