NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 22-year-old man was charged after allegedly firing a gun into a Goodlettsville business.
According to court documents, on July 2, an employee arrived at her workplace in the 800 block of Wren Road when she saw the front of the business has been struck by bullets, and found several shell casings in the road. Reports said an office window and two interior walls were struck.
Investigators later discovered that Tyler Kidder, 22, was arrested in the area of Wren Road the night before the business vandalism was reported. Goodlettsville Police officers had responded to Wren Road after receiving several calls from citizens who reported hearing gunshots. There, they found Kidder riding up and down the road on a minibike.
When officers searched Kidder's backpack, they reportedly found a 9mm semiautomatic handgun and two boxes of ammunition.
He was placed under arrest and the firearm was taken for evidence. Investigators later matched the bullets shot into the Wren Road business to the bullets found in Kidder's possession.
He was booked into Metro jail on charges of felony vandalism and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
