NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — It was a family reunion at Titans training camp Wednesday morning.

The Tennessee Titans signed safety Quandre Diggs, who is also the cousin of quarterback Cam Ward.

Diggs spent time with the team last season. In fact, he started in eight games before breaking his foot.

Now, the three-time Pro Bowl player is expected to add depth to the secondary. However, his most important trait is to be a mentor for his younger cousin.

"It's different when you walk in the locker room and you see your family, like real family," Diggs told News 2. "It was cool. He came in this morning and was like, 'I get to wake up and see my cousin at work.' I'm going to be on him and continue to handle my business, and do what I do also."

Diggs recorded 42 tackles before landing on injured reserve. He's entering his 11th season and has appeared in 145 career games and logged 120 starts during his time with the Detroit Lions, Seattle Seahawks and Tennessee Titans.

The Titans hit the road for joint practices with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday, Aug. 7.
