CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Homicide detectives are investigating after a welfare check Sunday morning led to the discovery of a body in a Clarksville neighborhood.
Authorities responded at 11:13 a.m. to Daniel Street near Laurent Lane after receiving a call to emergency services regarding a body being found in a wooded area.
According to the Clarksville Police Department, when officers arrived, a person was found and pronounced deceased at the scene. The Special Operations Homicide Unit is investigating.
