NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man has been arrested in connection with a home invasion in June that left one person in critical condition.
On June 14, Metro Police officers were called to the 100 block of Southwood Park Place in South Nashville.
According to court documents, Andrew Brown, 32, and other man broke through the closed door of an apartment and demanded money from the man and woman inside.
Reports said the couple managed to get the men out of the apartment and shut the door. The suspects began kicking the door, and one man opened fire into the apartment.
The victim was shot once in the arm and in the abdomen. They were taken to the hospital with critical injuries, but survived.
On Aug. 18, Brown was arrested in connection with the shooting. He faces nine felony charges, including attempted homicide and burglary. His bond is set at $340,000.
