BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (WKRN) — More than two years after filing for bankruptcy, Bed Bath & Beyond is making a comeback, and the first new store will be in Brentwood.

The iconic brand will make its return with a new twist and a slightly different name, reintroducing itself as Bed Bath & Beyond Home

It’s a partnership between The Brand House Collective, Inc., previously known as Kirkland's, and Beyond, Inc., the parent company of Bed Bath & Beyond.

“If you think about Bed Bath & Beyond in the past, it was 60,000 to 70,000 square feet of inventory piled up everywhere, and unfortunately, a lot of debt,” said Marcus Lemonis, executive chairman and principal executive officer of Beyond. “We think the Kirkland’s team understands supply chain, the right product, and most importantly, they understand what the customer wants.”

Amy Sullivan, CEO of The Brand House Collective, said the store is going to be filled with the best of what you remember from Kirkland’s, as well as all the national brands that were legacy to Bed Bath & Beyond.

“This is the perfect mix of the foundations that you need for your home, but we do the homework for you,” Sullivan said. “Some places that you go to, you have to hunt and treasure hunt to find what you need, but we put looks together so that you know how to put it together in your home.”

The Brand House Collective told News 2 it plans to open five more Bed Bath & Beyond Home brick-and-mortar locations in Nashville and 75 more across the country in 2026.

“It's just such a known name, and people trust it as an authority in the bedroom and in the bathroom and in anywhere where you're thinking about getting great branded product for your home,” Sullivan said. “It's just needed back in the industry.”

Lemonis said he’s excited about this new beginning.

“It's kind of a surreal moment that two and a half years after Bed Bath & Beyond disappeared, that for the first time in Nashville, which is kind of like one of the best cities to test ideas because the consumers are really well represented here, is back, and that thing for me, it’s a little like a pinch yourself moment.”

The grand opening for the new store, located at 1624 Galleria Blvd, will be held on Aug. 8. The Brand House Collective said it will accept any old Bed Bath & Beyond coupons that shoppers bring in.

“The coupon we all know and love is back, and for those who need one, a fresh version will be waiting at the door,” The Brand House Collective said.
