2 brought to hospital following shooting on Woodale Lane

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) -- An investigation is underway after a shooting was reported near Nashville's Haynes Area Sunday afternoon.

According to Metro Nashville dispatch, the incident was called in at approximately 12:22 p.m. on Sunday, May 18 from the 2400 block of Woodale Lane.

Dispatch told News 2 that two people were transported to the hospital following the shooting. There's no word on their current conditions.

News 2 reached out to the Metro Nashville Police Department for additional information about this incident, but we have yet to hear back.
