NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A suspect has been detained in connection with a stabbing that left a person injured Sunday night in downtown Nashville, according to Metro police.
Officers were called to the reported stabbing just after 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of 1st Avenue South and Demonbreun Street.
Officials said they found a person with minor injuries, which reportedly occurred during an altercation with the suspect. The victim was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
A person matching the suspect's description was detained and interviewed by investigators. At the time of publication, no charges were filed. No additional information was released.
