CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Authorities are investigating a crash that left one person dead and two others critically injured Tuesday afternoon in Clarksville.

According to the Clarksville Police Department, the crash was reported just after 2 p.m. on Memorial Extension on Tuesday, Aug. 12.

One of the drivers involved in the crash was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the victim's name will be released once the family is notified.

Meanwhile, officials reported two other individuals were flown to a Nashville hospital, where they remain in critical condition.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is reportedly assisting CPD's FACT investigators with an ongoing investigation into the deadly crash.
