COFFEE COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A woman's body was found in a field in Manchester Monday morning.
A resident spotted the body behind Truckers Inn and Truck Parking on Hillsboro Boulevard off Interstate 24.
The body was found in a grassy area behind the mote, according to District Attorney Craig Northcott.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has been called in to assist with the investigation. The body has been released to the Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
No additional information was immediately released.
