Woman stabbed to death inside East Nashville home

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A woman was found stabbed to death inside an East Nashville home Friday morning.

Officers were called to residence on West Avenue around 9:45 a.m.

According to Metro police, a woman was found dead inside the home with a knife in her chest.

No additional information was immediately released. The investigation is ongoing.
