NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Metro Nashville Police Department announced that officers arrested a man who had been wanted on more than two dozen outstanding warrants with charges ranging from theft of merchandise to domestic violence.
On Thursday night, MNPD officers reportedly saw 31-year-old David Foxx driving a Ford Taurus in the area of 16th Avenue North and Blank Street. They identified him as a man wanted on 25 outstanding warrants for theft of merchandise, auto theft, a probation violation and domestic violence.
Though Foxx initially fled from officers, spike strips were deployed and he stopped on the Interstate 40 entrance ramp on Charlotte Avenue; that's where he was taken into custody.
Police said Foxx allegedly took items from a variety of retail stores. Additionally, they say he has prior felony convictions for gun possession, evading arrest, drug possession and theft. As of publication, he is being held on a $78,000 bond.
