ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. (WKRN) โ€” A woman was reportedly shot Monday afternoon in Ashland City. Authorities say a suspect is now in custody.

According to officials, the shooting took place on the 100 block of Mulberry Street. The victim was transported from the scene with non-life threatening injuries, according to Cheatham County EMS officials.

Ashland City police confirmed a suspect is in custody, but no information about the suspect has been given out as of publication. Police have called the shooting a domestic situation, but no other details were immediately released.
