NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — City leaders held a grand opening for a new greenspace at Nashville Yards in downtown Nashville Tuesday morning.
As a whole, Nashville Yards is a 19-acre, mixed-used development from Broadway around the Union Station Hotel and behind the Grand Hyatt to Church Street.
The Ascension Saint Thomas landing features a dog park, amphitheater, urban farm, fire pits and space for concerts, markets and more.
It also includes an area called "Under Broad," which runs under Broadway between the Union Station hotel and Grand Hyatt Nashville. Named Dinkville Under Broad at Nashville Yards, it features five covered pickleball courts and a nine-hole putting course. It is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday. The pickleball courts will feature open court play ($15 per hour), various trainings ($10), and full-court reservations ($50 per hour). Mini golf is $10 per person per hour.
Under Broad will eventually feature a 600 square-foot bar and 3,200 square-foot open-air, entertainment venue, both operated by the Union Station Hotel.
The landing will be open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. There are five retail "containers" at the landing, which will include three rotating food and beverage options.
