MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) — One person was taken to an area hospital after a vehicle crashed into a Murfreesboro home Tuesday morning.
The Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department responded after receiving a call of a single vehicle crashing into a home along River Rock Boulevard on Tuesday morning. One person was transported to an area hospital by Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services.

Officials said the vehicle and the home sustained "moderate damage" in the crash. The MFRD's Collapse Rescue Technicians created a "structural shore" to help stabilize damaged portions of the home.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, the MFRD added.
