NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Metro Nashville Police Department has released a new video showing the moments shots were fired at a patrol car earlier this week.
On Wednesday, the MNPD responded to a shooting call in Madison. The suspect, 18-year-old Emmanual Orr, shot three rounds into the patrol car of Officer Jeff Lubey. The officer had been slowly rolling behind Orr and giving him commands to stop. Lubey did not sustain any injuries during the shooting.
In a social media post Friday, the MNPD released video from Lubey's vehicle that showed Orr firing at Lubey's vehicle near Cedar Hill Park.
Orr had run into a restaurant bathroom before surrendering to police. According to Davidson County records, Orr has been charged with attempted criminal homicide, felony firearm possession, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and evading arrest.
