PARIS, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Henry County woman who was last seen nearly a week ago.
According to officials, 89-year-old Jean Powell was last seen on Saturday, Aug. 30, and the alert was issued just before 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 5.
Powell is described as 5-feet 4-inches tall, 145 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes. In addition, she reportedly has a medical condition that may impair her ability to return home safely without assistance.
It's believed that the 89-year-old is in Wisconsin and could be traveling in a black 2009 Nissan Versa with Tennessee tag PD72378, per the TBI.
Anyone with information regarding Powell's whereabouts is asked to call the Paris Police Department at 731-642-2424 or the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
No additional information was immediately released.
