LAWRENCE COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man is charged with making terroristic threats after threatening a contractor at a park in Loretto Wednesday.
The victim was pressure washing at Weather's Park when he was approached by Timothy Lance around 10 a.m.
According to the Loretto Police Department, Lance began harassing the contract worker and videotaping him with a cell phone. During the incident, Lance reportedly retrieved a firearm from his vehicle and threatened the contractor. The contractor left and called police to report the incident.

Lance made statements threatening the Loretto mayor, city manager, aldermen and police chief while being arrested, according to Loretto police. He was charged with making terrorist threats as a result of these statements. A search warrant was obtained and executed at Lance’s residence where the firearm used in the assault and others were seized.
Lance was booked into the Lawrence County jail on a $110,000 bond. No additional information was released.
