GILES COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) -- The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued a Silver Alert on behalf of Giles County authorities Wednesday afternoon for a missing 83-year-old man with a medical condition.

According to the TBI, Earl Strong Jr. went missing from Pulaski on Tuesday, Oct. 21. Officials described him as 5-feet 11-inches tall and 180 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes.

The TBI said Strong may be wearing a tan jacket with a gray hood and blue jeans. In addition, he might be driving a black Ford F-150 with Tennessee plate 524BJBG.

Law enforcement said Strong's medical condition may impair his ability to return safely without help.

No additional details have been released about the circumstances surrounding Strong's disappearance.
