NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — La Brigada de Oro, a supporter group for Nashville SC, canceled its typical game-day activities on Saturday in response to recent Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations in Tennessee.

La Brigada de Oro is an officially recognized supporter group for the team, and its first Latin American supporter group. Ahead of the match, the group announced on social media the decision to cancel its pre-game tailgate.

During Saturday's 2 to 1 home victory over Charlotte FC at Geodis Park, those in attendance spread out banners in the stands that said in English and Spanish, "We are not all here," in reference to recent immigration-related arrests.

One week ago, ICE partnered with the Tennessee Highway Patrol to begin carrying out a “public safety operation” that has since resulted in more than 100 people being taken into custody. Since the arrests began, protests have taken place, and local leaders have called on law enforcement to be more transparent about the operation.

In a statement announcing the cancellations, La Brigada de Oro said in part,

During difficult times, family stands together — when one of us is affected, we all are. And at this moment, it doesn't feel prudent to celebrate, cheer and party while so many families within our community are being separated and destroyed. We deeply appreciate your understanding and support in this decision. Rest assured, we will be back.
