LAWRENCE COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — First responders in Lawrence County came across storm damage as severe weather moved into Middle Tennessee.
A portion of Thousand Hills Cowboy Church's roof was blown off by intense winds after 5 p.m. Thursday, according to Lawrence County officials.

Additionally, Lawrence County Fire and Rescue units and the Lawrenceburg Fire Department — alongside Larewnceburg Utility System crews — responded to several calls regarding downed power lines and trees across the county. Officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department, the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office and Lawrence County Constables also assisted with calls.
Authorities said at the height of the power outage, more than 450 customers were without power. Crews with the Tennessee Department of Transportation and Lawrence County Highway crews also helped with cleanup efforts.
"Emergency personnel urge residents to remain cautious around any downed power lines or debris and to report hazardous conditions to local authorities," Lawrence County officials said in a press release.
