NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — More than 9,000 people are without power after strong storms moved across Middle Tennessee Monday afternoon.
According to the Nashville Electric Service's online outage map, the outages were reported shortly before 2 p.m. on Monday, July 7, impacting a total of 9,749 customers.
Majority of those affected by the power loss are in West Nashville, according to the outage map.

Earlier in the day, NES said they were expecting heavy rains and gusty winds to lead to potential outages.
"Our crews remain ready to address potential outages as quickly and safely as possible," said the power company in a statement posted to X.
