SPRING HILL, Tenn. (WKRN) — First responders with the Spring Hill Fire Department responded to seven emergency calls within one hour and provided images of some of the calls.
The SHFD reported that two homes were struck by lightning, though no fires were reported. Additionally, the SHFD and other area first responders responded to two motor vehicle crashes.
Fuel was leaking from a nearly-overturned truck at one of the crash sites, officials said.
Additionally, first responders had to conduct a swift water rescue operation. All of the calls happened "within minutes of this afternoon's storm and deluge of rain water," the SHFD said in a Facebook post.
Despite the high number of calls in a short time frame, the SHFD added that no major damage or serious injuries were reported in any of these incidents.
