FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) — There will be a new visitor center in Williamson County.

This fall, the Factory at Franklin will open a visitor center across from Honest Coffee Roasters and next to The White Alligator. The satellite location will provide first-time visitors and returning guests with resources and guidance about Franklin and Williamson County. The site will also provide video, images and historical context about the factory itself.

President and CEO of Visit Franklin, Maureen Thornton, said it's a great opportunity for locals to learn more about the community, too.

"The new center allows local people to be extraordinary host and show off their community to their friends and relatives who are coming in," Thornton said. "It's really our goal to create a sense of welcome and a launching point for more exploration."

Within the center, visitors will be able to buy exclusive merchandise, purchase tickets for local experiences and attractions and more.
