NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Tennessee Titans hosted a media day on Thursday for Nashville-area high school football teams at Nissan Stadium.
More than 30 schools from across middle Tennessee were in attendance.
Student-athletes took pictures, participated in interviews and caught up with friends from other schools.
Among those players is Nashville Christian senior Landon Travis, who is hoping to lead his team to a state title.
"Everybody is just trying to go at each other and get the best they can, go get a title," Travis said. "I just feel like it's really competitive. I know I love it; my family loves it."
NSC returns top-ranked quarterback for 2026 and Georgia commit Jared Curtis, who led the Eagles to a state championship in 2024.
Not many NFL teams host a media day dedicated to high school athletes.
Oakland senior Maurice Smith said the Titans treated them like superstars.
"It just shows that people care about football, and it's big around here," Smith said. "I think it's really good that the Titans have us here to promote our teams and put us out there."
The high school football season kicks off on Aug. 22.
