GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A new art exhibit is taking center stage at city hall to showcase artwork in the community. The City of Goodlettsville is opening its city hall doors so local artist can gain exposure in their very own community.
The new art exhibit will be located inside Goodlettsville City Hall on South Main Street. It will feature an ongoing series of community art, highlighting artist talent in the Goodlettsville community. The month of July is the beginning of their first exhibit, which is from a collection of artist and students from the Artists on Main Painting Society.
The artwork will rotate regularly for residents and visitors to enjoy a fresh new take on the exhibit. The ongoing series will be showcase vary artist work throughout the next upcoming months.
Goodlettsville leaders say this is all part of the city's plan to foster community engagement with their Project 072. Goodlettsville leaders say supporting the arts fosters their continued efforts of the plan.
Everyone is invited to enjoy the exhibit and support local artists. Public viewing hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
