This year's game is set for Dec. 30 at 4:30 p.m. at Nissan Stadium and will feature a team from the Southeastern Conference and another team from the Big Ten.

“With this investment in the Music City Bowl, Liberty Mutual Insurance is demonstrating confidence in Nashville’s growing sports and tourism sector, highlighting the benefit of corporate and community partnership,” Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell said. "I’m happy to welcome Liberty Mutual Insurance to Music City and to celebrate a great game in December.”

The bowl game has been played in Nashville since 1998 with several different sponsors, most recently known as the TransPerfect Music City Bowl. According to bowl game officials, the game has produced $450 million since 1998 for Nashville and has boosted tourism in the city during the holiday season.

“Liberty Mutual is proud to be the title sponsor of the 2025 Liberty Mutual Music City Bowl. The game of football embodies grit, teamwork and community spirit — values that guide how we protect and support our customers every day,” Liberty Mutual chief marketing officer of US Retail Markets Jenna Lebel said. “Partnering with the city of Nashville, the SEC, the Big Ten and ESPN allows Liberty Mutual to connect with fans and families in meaningful ways, and we look forward to being part of this memorable December tradition.”
