🏈 TITAN UP all season long with the latest news and notes on the Tennessee Titans
Description
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Seven weeks in and we have to ask ourselves some very difficult questions... Are the Colts REALLY that good? Will the Jets go 0-17? Will the Browns EVER be good?
Your week 8 NFL Power Rankings...
32. New York Jets (0-7) - The Jets are already five games out of first place, and the last Jets QB to lead them to a winning season is on the postgame set of Prime Video, wearing an ever-expanding collection of ugly dad shirts.
31. Tennessee Titans (1-6) - It is hard to fathom the Titans are not number 32, and I had to put a lot of thought into this because I am not sure who would win between the Jets and the Titans. I know this: everyone who watched it would be a loser.
30. Miami Dolphins (1-6) - They may not be as bad as the Titans and Jets, but they feel like they are falling apart faster. Is anyone happy in Miami?
29. Las Vegas Raiders (2-5) - One Raiders coach said the Titans were the worst team he's seen in 20 years. Well, his Raiders might be the second worst.
28. Baltimore Ravens (1-5) - On Oct. 30, we get the Dolphins and Ravens in primetime!!! Is it too early for flex scheduling?
27. New Orleans Saints (1-6) - They stink, but they battle. They're just not "good" at anything.
26. Cleveland Browns (2-5) - They've had four winning seasons since 1999... They are so bad that Kevin Stefanski has been named NFL Coach of the Year twice for leading them to two of those winning seasons. That bar is low.
25. New York Giants (2-5) - I didn't know it was possible to score 33 points in a quarter or to give up 33 points in a quarter.
24. Houston Texans (2-4) - They have two wins over two teams who are a combined 2-11... This is THE MOST DISAPPOINTING team in the NFL and should be ranked lower. Give me a minute.
23. Arizona Cardinals (2-5) - They must hate their fans. Five straight losses by four points or less. That's just mean.
22. Cincinnati Bengals (3-4) - They are ALIVE!!!! Joe Flacco found the fountain of middle age and most importantly discovered that it is indeed impossible to throw too many times to Ja'Marr Chase, who caught 16 of 23 targets against Pittsburgh. 23!!!! Some teams don't throw that many times in a game.
21. Minnesota Vikings (3-3) - All three of their wins have come against teams whose name starts with "B" (Bears, Browns, Bengals). That means they won't win again until Nov. 16.
20. Washington Commanders (3-4) - Their season could be over. Jayden Daniels is hurting, and they have the Chiefs, Seahawks and Lions next. They are probably looking at 3-7.
19. Atlanta Falcons (3-3) - Bijan Robinson and Drake London are way too good for this offense to be this inconsistent.
18. Carolina Panthers (4-3) - Biggest overachiever in the league this year. Running the heck out of it at 140 yards per game.
17. Jacksonville Jaguars (4-3) - Drilled in London. Again, they are dependent on creating turnovers. They have created no turnovers in the last two weeks and have just 19 points. Lawrence needs the defense to help him.
16. Dallas Cowboys (3-3-1) - If they can play defense like that regularly, they will win a lot of games. Lamb and Pickens are a nightmare combination.
15. Los Angeles Chargers (4-3) - Why do the Chargers do this to me year after year? I always take the cheese, and here they are at 4-3, same as the Jags and Panthers.
14. Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2) - Does Aaron Rodgers like anyone? His teammate tried to celebrate with him, and he looked like he wanted to have the guy exiled.
13. Chicago Bears (4-2) - Ben Johnson is in full effect. Fewer sacks, run game taking over, and it's a confident football team with four straight wins.
12. New England Patriots (5-2) - Getting fat on a last-place schedule with a nice young quarterback.
11. Denver Broncos (5-2) - They are a leverage call away from being 6-1 and a miracle comeback away from 4-3.
10. San Francisco 49ers (5-2) - Kyle Shanahan might be my pick for NFL Coach of the Year right now.
9. Buffalo Bills (4-2) - I am truly interested to see what changes the Bills made in the bye week.
8. Green Bay Packers (4-1-1) - They do everything well, but they need to play better than they have.
7. Seattle Seahawks (5-2) - Jaxon Smith-Njigba... Is he the best receiver in the NFL? 7 catches for 118 yards a game (AVERAGE). That's an AVERAGE game for him.
6. Tampa Bay Bucs (5-2) - They battled in Detroit, but losing Mike Evans is going to hurt... Unless you've Emega Egbuka in fantasy like I do!!!!
5. Los Angeles Rams (5-2) - Seniors love to visit London. That's why Stafford rolled out those five touchdowns, three to Davante Adams.
4. Philadelphia Eagles (5-2) - It's the rematch with Jaxson Dart this week, and you know they will be waiting.
3. Kansas City Chiefs (4-3) - Yeah, they look like the Chiefs again. Did Andy Reid actually feel sorry for Pete Carroll?
2. Indianapolis Colts (6-1) - #2 offense, #1 scoring offense, #3 turnover margin... Those stats win a lot of games!!! Barring injuries, they will win at least 13 games.
1. Detroit Lions (5-2) - Jared Goff is at 75% completions with 15 TDs. They are just a lot of fun to watch.
