MT. JULIET, Tenn., (WKRN) — If you're a veteran and have a connection to Mt. Juliet, your name could be immortalized in the city.
The Mt. Juliet Veterans Wall has been around for about a year, but there is plenty of blank space on it the city is trying to fill.
Submissions for the veterans wall will be taken until Aug. 31.
To qualify, each veteran must have a connection to Mt. Juliet, past or present.
The city said the wall has been extremely popular among residents since it was built and shows how dedicated the city is to veterans and their place in the community.
"It means a lot to a lot of people that have family or loved ones or former loved ones on this wall, and we certainly want to add to it, so that's why it's important here. We get the little things right here in Mt. Juliet," Mt. Juliet Public Information Officer Justin Beasley told News 2.
There is a slight cost for a name to be engraved into the wall: each letter is $3.
