NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Metro Nashville police have arrested a man in connection with a June vape shop robbery.
According to a news release from the Metro Nashville Police Department, 45-year-old Anthony Finnie faces an aggravated robbery charge for the June 15 robbery at a vape shop in the 5700 block of Nolensville Pike.
Authorities said Finnie reportedly demanded cash from the register while holding the clerk at gunpoint before running away.
Detectives with the MNPD's Robbery Operations division identified Finnie as the suspect over the course of the investigation, police said, and he was arrested Tuesday night in the 5400 block of Nolensville Pike.
Officials said Finnie had been convicted of robbery and aggravated assault in Davidson County before this incident. He has also been convicted of aggravated robbery, aggravated assault and aggravated burglary in Shelby County.
Police are investigating Finnie's potential involvement in other robberies. As of publication, Finnie is being held on a $100,000 bond, the MNPD said.
