NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Authorities are working to identify four individuals connected to an attack that occurred on the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge over the weekend.
The Metro Nashville Police Department said the incident happened at approximately 1:15 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 31.
At least three victims reportedly told officers that they were standing on the bridge when four people, who they did not know, approached them and began to threaten them.
According to authorities, the victims said guns were pointed at them and one of the suspects swung at rifle at them "like a baseball bat," striking one of the victim's in the head and leaving them bloodied.
Meanwhile, another victim said they were hit in the head with a pistol, and a third person reported that one of the suspects punched them, officials said.
The 23-year-old man hit in the face by the rifle was reportedly taken to a hospital for treatment via ambulance.

Metro police said the suspects are believed to be in their late teens to early 20s, adding that they fled the area in a gray Chrysler 300 sedan.
