MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Murfreesboro art festival is returning for its 21st year to shine the spotlight on local artists of all ages.
The Greenway Art Festival is put on by the Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation Cultural Arts Division each year, but this time it will be at a new location. Leaders hope the festival exposes more talented local art by featuring an array of selections by adult and junior artists.
The greenway trail at Cannonsburgh Village will be filled with more than 70 art vendors and live entertainment on two different stages.
Artists submitted everything from fiber art, paintings, photography, pottery, sculpture and more, which will be available for purchase.
The Greenway Art Festival will take place on Sept. 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Cannonsburgh Village Greenway (312 Front Street in Murfreesboro). Entry and parking are free.
