Description
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Officers are searching for several car burglary suspects who allegedly ran away from a crash Wednesday morning in South Nashville.
According to Metro Police officers, at approximately 4 a.m. Wednesday, officers identified a vehicle believed to contain several suspects involved in car burglaries. Officers reportedly tried to conduct a traffic stop on the car, but it fled.
Spike strips were used to disable the car and it crashed on Murfreesboro Pike near Trevecca Nazarene University. Officials said at least two to three suspects ran from the scene.
Investigators are working to determine who owns the car and handguns found inside it.
As of publication, no suspects were arrested in connection with the incident.
