HENRY COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Mansfield man has been charged with criminal homicide following an investigation into the death of a woman whose body was found in a parking lot in Henry County over the weekend.
According to the Henry County Sheriff's Office, on May 13, 54-year-old Mark Odom was charged with criminal homicide in connection with the woman's death.
Saturday, May 10, hunters discovered a dead woman on the edge of the parking lot off Copper Springs Road in Springville. Authorities identified her as 31-year-old Kristiana Shook-Livingston, who was last known to be unhoused in Murfreesboro.
The following day, law enforcement announced that the medical examiner’s office had deemed the preliminary cause of death as homicide.
After an investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, HCSO and the Murfreesboro Police Department, Odom was identified as the suspect.
Odom is being held in Henry County Jail on a 2,500,000 bond. No additional information was immediately released.
